Syracuse VA Medical Center will be showing works of art created by local Veterans at the War Memorial at Onecenter*.  The show will include fine and applied art, craft kits and performing art such as writing, music, drama, and dance. The free display will run from the afternoon of March 5 through the awards ceremony at 12:30 on March 8. Veterans who are performance artists including singers, dancers and more are wanted for a live show on March 8th at 11:00 a.m.

The best works from the show are eligible for entry in the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. In the past, Veterans from Syracuse have placed highly in the national competition. The community is invited to appreciate the talents of local Veterans.

Veteran artists, performers and craft makers can enter the competition by contacting the Syracuse VA Medical Center Recreation Therapy department at (315) 425 4400 ext. 52589. Participants must be Veterans registered with a VA Medical Center or one of its clinics. To enroll in VA Health Care call 1-888-823-9656.
