Situation Update

As of Friday, June 12, 2020 11:28 AM EDT

COVID-19:

The CDC and VA are committed to reducing the spread of the flu and COVID-19. If you have a fever, cough, shortness of breath – please stay home and contact your primary care provider. Tell them about how you are feeling and any recent travel you or members of your household have taken. They will be able to discuss your appointment options and answer any questions you may have.

The Syracuse VA Medical Center has temporarily suspended visiting hours for all patients and Community Living Center residents until further notice to protect the Veterans we are entrusted to care for.   Under special pre-arrangement, only hospice patients can have visitors, but under no circumstances will visitors under 18 years of age be allowed. We encourage families and loved ones to utilize telephone visitation and other “virtual visiting” options.  The Syracuse VA has also limited entry to the medical center using Irving Avenue so patients and visitors can be screened for the COVID-19 virus.

The Binghamton Community Based Outpatient Clinic hours during the COVID -19 health crisis will be 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday throught Friday.
