Syracuse VA Medical Center will be showing works of art created by local Veterans at the 17th Annual Syracuse VA Creative Arts Competition. This free exhibition will be hosted by the Everson Museum, located at 401 Harrison Street in Syracuse*, and the Delavan Center, 501 W Fayette Street in Syracuse.* The show will include fine and applied art as well as craft kits. The display will run from March 5 to March 28. Performing artists including singers, dancers and more will put on a live show on March 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Everson Museum.

The best works from the show are eligible for entry in the National Veterans Creative Arts Festival. In the past, Veterans from Syracuse have placed highly in the national competition. The community is invited to appreciate the talents of local Veterans.

Veteran artists, performers and craft makers can enter the competition by contacting the Syracuse VA Medical Center Recreation Therapy Department at (315) 425 4400 ext. 52589. Register for the show before February 24. Participants must be Veterans cnrolled with a VA Medical Center or one of its clinics. To enroll in VA Health Care call 1-888-823-9656.
