Syracuse VA Medical Center Prosthetics Team
Recognized Nationally As “Service of the Year”

 

Syracuse NY- The Syracuse VA Medical Center, Prosthetic and Sensory Aids Service has been selected from a field of some 150 other VA medical centers as the “Service of the Year” by the Secretary of the VA. This marks the third time Syracuse has received this honor.    

 

This competitive award recognizes the vital contributions of the PSAS staff at the Syracuse VA Medical Center in the enhancement of service delivery through the reengineering of work processes, their demonstrated commitment to ongoing quality improvement, and documented recognition by the patients they serve as providing outstanding prosthetic services.

 

Prosthetics and Sensory Aids Service is an allied health service responsible for providing medically prescribed equipment, supplies, devices, and prosthetic and orthotic services for home use by Veterans.
