Syracuse VA Medical Center Thanks Volunteers

The Syracuse VA Medical Center thanked and recognized nearly 100 volunteers during a special awards ceremony Friday, October 21, 2016. Medical Center Chief of Staff, Dr. Asif Ali, presented plaques and certificates to volunteers who have accumulated volunteer service hours ranging from 100 to 10,000 during the past two decades.

During 2015, some 1,558 volunteers at the Medical Center contributed 116,754 hours of service to Veterans and their families.
